Sue Goldschmidth

Sue Goldschmidt is a ceramic installation artist who makes work that explores human experience. Themes include motherhood, memory and the absent presence. Australian by birth, she now lives and works in London and is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Westminster.

Rosa Farber

There is a relationship between Rosa Farber’s artwork and the events and conditions going on around their production. The work draws on what is happening around its making with the focus settling on gender relations and specifically the uncertainties experienced around finding a suitable role or position for oneself either in or out of the spotlight. Uncertainties about what is private and what is public are questioned. A desire to mix the two confound the expectations of a situation including bits of related life that are usually internal or personal. Current works attempt to ignore that so called 'line' between art and life that everyone keeps talking about... what line?

Zarina Kostelman

Zarina Kostelman is a contemporary artist currently living in London.

"In my singular sculptures, I have also transformed familiar, every-day, domestic objects such as broken chairs, cots and found objects into things foreign, surreal and dangerous. Even the human body rendered strange in some sculptural works, creating the mood of Freud's study of the dream or uncanny. I like to combine a sense of threat with a surrealist sense of humour to create poetic, beguiling works on an intimate scale. Many of my most recent pieces are about “Suffocation”, as I lock objects into spaces not allowing them to breath, involving recycled material such as plastic bags, pillows, frames and tiny props glued together inside the reverse of the canvas, or just letting it lie freely on the floor. Then a new object appears..."
